He is one of those musicians who are recognizable from the first note played!
Barreto is serious when it comes to playing solid Rock or raw Blues and there’s no need to try finding similarities with other guitar players: Fred Barreto is an accomplished guitarist and does his own thing with great talent,virtuosity and soul.

When teaming up with Nadja Prange (organ), Daniel Fastro (bass) and Michael Stein (drums), theyform Fred Barreto Group, or just, FBG.

This passionate Luxembourg-based Blues-Rock Quartet combines the timeless energy of Rock music and the soulful vibes of Blues with a new-fashioned, distinctive character and vibrant drive, which can be felt and heard especially during their live performances.

FBG has played over 150 concerts in the last years, with highlights such as opening for Ian Paice(Deep Purple) and Ana Popovic, playing the main stage at Blues & Jazz Rallye, sharing the stage with Canned Heat at Blues Express Festival and travelling to Reunion Island to play Dekatali Festival.

Fred Barreto Group's first single "So Many Things" was released in 2016. In 2019 followed the second single, "Time To Escape", and the "For So Long" EP.
Today, they are excitedly looking forward to release their first full-length album in October, 2021.

Le guitariste brésilien Fred Barreto est unique en son genre!
Il fait partie de ces musiciens que l'on reconnaît dès la première note. Barreto ne plaisante pas quand il s'agit de jouer du rock solide ou du blues brut. Il n'est pas nécessaire d'essayer de trouver des similitudes avec d'autres guitaristes: Fred Barreto est un guitariste accompli et fait son "truc" avec beaucoup de talent, de virtuosité et d'âme.
